Children's Adoration

We are inviting all the children of the parish, and family members, to come together on Sat 19th July at 4pm when the
Blessed Sacrament will be exposed, we will sing and say prayers together, followed by afternoon tea.
A perfect introduction for children of all ages on spending time with the Lord and learning how to pray.
What is Adoration?
During Adoration, the Body of Christ — called the Eucharist — is placed in a special stand called a monstrance on the altar. People come to church to sit quietly with Jesus, to pray, think or just be still. It’s a peaceful time to be close to Him, even without saying anything. This quiet prayer time comes from when Jesus asked His friends to stay with Him while He prayed: “Could you not stay awake with me one hour?” (Mark 14:37).
