Children's Adoration

We are inviting all the children of the parish, along with their family, to come together on Sat 18th October at 4pm. The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed and there will be a 15 minute guided Adoration where we will sing and say prayers together. Afterwards there will be afternoon tea for the adults and time for the children to play.
A perfect introduction to spending time with the Lord and learning how to pray, for children of all ages.
What is Adoration?
During Adoration, the Body of Christ — called the Eucharist — is placed in a special stand called a monstrance on the altar. People come to church to sit quietly with Jesus, to pray, think or just be still. It’s a peaceful time to be close to Him, even without saying anything. This quiet prayer time comes from when Jesus asked His friends to stay with Him while He prayed: “Could you not stay awake with me one hour?” (Mark 14:37).
