Catholic Network

We’re not the only ones to see the need for a hub to show Catholics what’s on, and we’re not in competition. Below are some other Catholic sites where you may find what you’re looking for.

www.CliftonDiocese.com

Not specifically a Catholic events site, but we couldn’t have a links page without starting with the most comprehensive source of Catholic life in our region: the Clifton Diocese website. It covers everything from events and faith formation to student accommodation and pilgrimages. If you’re looking for the official word on what’s happening across the diocese, you won’t find a better place to start than here.

www.bristolcathchap.org.uk

A home away from home for Catholic students in Bristol, the University Chaplaincy has many groups and events for you to join and get involved in. They say: “We are always keen to see new faces!”, so if you’re a student, then pop in and say hello.

www.ChristianEco-Dating.co.uk

Christian Eco-Dating is based in the West Country and is a new way for single Christians to meet—one that’s ethical, purposeful, and rooted in shared action. Inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s insight that “Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction,” we create opportunities for meaningful connection by bringing people together to care for God’s creation.

www.YoungCatholicAdultNetwork.uk

Based in the South West but operating nationally, the Young Catholic Adult Network is a religious group for practicing young Catholic adults in the UK, they say their simple mission is to connect all young Catholic adults with one another, through retreats, holidays and other faith-based activities. Their motto is one we very much agree with: No one can practice their Faith on their own!

www.EventCatholic.co.uk

Based mainly in London and the South East, EventCatholic provides a space for Catholics to connect, deepen their faith, and live out their values through engaging events. They say they are an easy and efficient way to find & promote Catholic events for FREE.

www.CatholicTalentNetwork.com

Also not a website showcasing events, but if you want to put on an event, it’s an amazing resource. It’s more than just a website. It’s a platform dedicated to supporting the Catholic Church by promoting Catholic talents – individuals ready and equipped to minister to audiences across the UK.

It was founded by a member of the planning team behind Flame 2023, one of the UK’s largest Catholic youth events. During her work on the event, she encountered a surprising challenge: it was difficult to find UK-based Catholic speakers and performers. She realised this was either because these talented individuals weren’t being promoted enough – or because the Church in the UK wasn’t doing enough to seek out, support and nurture them. Determined to change that, she created the Catholic Talent Network.
