New Life Prayer Group
You are warmly invited to join our friendly group for some heartfelt praise and worship, deep sharing of the Word of God, quiet reflection, powerful prayer and sincere fellowship. Rosary
Every day apart from Sunday. The Rosary is a form of meditation that involves repeating a series of prayers while reflecting deeply on important events in the life of Jesus Christ and his mother, Mary. This meditative practice helps to quiet the mind and draw the heart into the mysteries of faith.
Rosary Group
Please come and join in praying the Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet and share a cup of tea afterwards. Meet in St Elizabeth room in the Presbytery at 2.00pm.
Lectio Divina
Lectio Divina is a slow, meditative way of reading the Bible, where the goal isn’t to study or analyse, but to listen to God speaking personally through the text. It invites a personal encounter with God through Scripture. We gather every other Wednesday.
Breviary Morning Prayer
The Breviary Morning Prayer, also known as Lauds, is intended to sanctify the morning, offering praise to God as the day begins. It’s traditionally prayed at dawn and is one of the most important “hours” of the day, alongside Vespers (Evening Prayer).
Adoration
What is Adoration? The Eucharist is placed in a monstrance (a special vessel) on the altar. People come to pray silently, reflect or simply sit in the presence of Christ.
