Adoration

What is Adoration?
The Eucharist is placed in a monstrance (a special vessel) on the altar. People come to pray silently, reflect or simply sit in the presence of Christ. Spiritually, Adoration is a time of intimacy with God, a practice that deepens faith and love. It’s a very peaceful and profound tradition – less about words, more about stillness and presence. It draws its inspiration from Christ’s words to the Apostles in Gethsemane: “Had you not the strength to stay awake one hour?” (Mark 14:37)
Every first Friday of the month there is a half hour Adoration after 5:30pm Mass from 6:00pm to 6:30pm. All are Welcome!
