Listening to Christ in the Scriptures

Fr Łukasz Popko OP, will be visiting St Francis Church, Nailsea. His talks will be on Saturday 20 June, homilies on Sunday 21 June & a Day of Recollection on Monday 22 June.
We begin on Saturday & Monday after 9.15am Mass, please bring a packed lunch on these days, refreshments will be provided. Fr Łukasz is a Polish Dominican friar and a prominent biblical scholar based at the École Biblique et Archéologique Française de Jérusalem (EBAF). His research focuses on the Old Testament, as well as biblical poetry. Notable works include ‘Questioning God’ one of his most widely recognised works co-authored with Cardinal Timothy Radcliffe, exploring biblical dialogues as a means of entering deeper into a relationship with God. Fr. Łukasz frequently contributes to international biblical symposiums and engages in interdisciplinary dialogues about faith & literature.
